Hosting High-Profile Political Leaders - Cultivating Leadership and Relationships at the Highest Levels

One of the main objectives of the Top American Latinx Tech Leaders group is to cultivate leadership and relationships at the highest levels in the United States in order to strengthen the socio-economic prosperity of our American Latinx community - we can't do this from the sidelines. 

We invite the most influential national leaders to our events - not only to meet them, but for them to meet us and learn about our accomplishments and initiatives as American Latinx industry leaders. Our goal is to show the future leaders of the world how much there is to gain when working with the LatinX community - we need to continue to improve the narrative of American Latinx leaders in the US. Most of the leaders who we invite are running for top leadership roles in the United States. 

We have previously been joined by Michael Bloomberg (2020 Presidential Candidate), Julian Castro (former Secretary of Housing and Presidential Candidate), Andrew Yang (former presidential candidate and NYC Mayoral candidate), Carlos Gutierrez (former US Secretary of Commerce) and Henry Cisneros (US Secretary of Housing), among others.

WHAT IT TAKES TO BOOK A HIGH PROFILE CANDIDATE

Booking a high-profile political candidate running for one of the highest offices in the US to join a group of 20 leaders for an intimate conversation is not a simple undertaking. It requires high level relationships, trust and financial contributions. As the founder of some of the most exclusive and highly-curated tech communities in the world, I have years of experience booking high-profile guests and have cultivated the relationships necessary to have them meet with us, plus the willingness to write a maximum personal contribution to their campaign from the hosting committee. 

OPEN TO SUGGESTIONS FOR FUTURE GUESTS 

As a group, we are not tied to any single political leader, policy, party or campaign - we are open to inviting and participating in high-level conversations with political leaders our TLTL members are interested in meeting. If you have high-level relationships and trust with a specific leader and are willing to make the necessary financial contributions, please nominate your candidate by emailing the hosts of the event.

FUNDRAISING

When hosting a high-profile leader running for office in the United States, fundraising is essential to their campaign and a factor for  joining any group of fellow industry leaders. Typically, the hosting committee makes maximum personal contributions, and other members who want to participate in the conversation are encouraged to make a political contribution in order to participate in such an intimate, high-level meeting.

OPTING IN / OUT OF JOINING A CONVERSATION & CONTRIBUTING 

When you invite a political leader running for office, there will always be fellow leaders who do not support a specific candidate. Those who want to meet and/or support the candidate in a very intimate setting can do so. Those who do not want to join the conversation, can respectfully bow out.

You can opt out of being invited to all future intimate conversations with political leaders, or you can decline a specific event, by responding to the email along the lines of: "Thank you for the invitation, but I will not participate given that I do not agree with his/her platform."
